City of God (2002) - dir. Fernando Meirelles & Katia Lund
It’s not a must-see… but it certainly feels like one after you’ve seen it. A dark, episodic tale of slum-life in Rio de Janeiro. Not everything in this film works, but all of it entertains. There’s so much emotion in the film that the 130 minute ride feels like it lasts forever and that forever isn’t long enough. The quirkiness and the humor offset the mass amounts of guns, crime, and some downright disturbing images. City of God is lots of things, but most-importantly its memorable.

It’s all about the way we see things.

Redditor pimpofpixels took a self-portrait photo of a man wearing a rather awesome pug t-shirt and used the magic of photoshop to transform him into…wait for it…Pugman!
You can even see how it was done here.
What on earth did we all do with our time before the advent of the internet?
